We sit at a crossroads in American history. Vast change is underway … social, political, and economic ... an upheaval that threatens our future as a democracy. Just as surely, it offers us an opportunity: to set America more firmly on the path towards becoming a truly just society.

We must rise to the occasion. As Democrats, we can no longer be just a political party, or think like one. We must become more, and the nation must see us as more. This change must come from the bottom up.
