Flash! Innovation Ohio adopted the Democratic Creed. They become the 46th group to do so. Welcome and congratulations!

Innovation Ohio is a catalyst for progressive policy and grassroots activity that improves the lives of Ohio’s working families. Under the leadership of Desiree Tims, it is a unique organization that connects the dots between advocacy, activism, and policymaking in Ohio.

We had the pleasure of having Kayla Lewis, Chief of Staff for Innovation Ohio, participate at our event last year at the Lorain County Community College in Elyria Ohio.

MICHIGAN: RURAL SUMMIT 2024

Dems101 will be at the “Rural Summit 2024”, sponsored by the Michigan Rural Caucus of the Michigan Democratic Party. The event will take place on April 11-13, 2024 at the Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire, Michigan.

Breakout session: The Democratic Creed

Speakers: Bryan Watson and Dan McNeil

Time: Saturday April 12, 2024 at 2:15 pm

Purpose: answer voters’ concerns using the values Democrats believe in and live by. Link values to actions that produce outcomes to make lives better. In this hands-on session, hold value-based conversations and make the Democratic Creed a high-impact outreach tool.

GEORGIA: CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT 9

Jim Purvis. Founder and Author of Democrats 101, and State Representative Joe Miller (District 53, Ohio) will address county chairs and activists of the 9th Congressional District on April 13th, 2024 at the Craddock Center near Blue Ridge, Georgia.

The theme of their presentation will be “Why is it so hard to be a Democrat in rural counties?”

OHIO: FOUR CORNERS

On Saturday April 20th, Dems101 will participate in the Four Corners event at Bowling  Green State University, sponsored by the Ohio Democratic Party’s Rural Caucus.
