SPECIAL NEWSLETTER

We are in the final days of an epic election, and it’s an intense period for all of us. It’s no different for us here at Dems 101, and much of our activity will slow down until it’s over. Counties are still adopting … that’s for sure! … and we’re trying to get the values in the Democratic Creed and the Definitions of Freedom, Justice, and Opportunity out to as many people as possible for use door-to-door (be sure and download the cards from the Resource tab on our website), but things like the newsletter will trail off.
Know that when this election is over, when we have had time to digest what has happened, Dems 101 will come roaring back. The fight to take back our identity, as a party and as a nation, has just begun. And so have we.
A lot is at stake in this election, and nowhere more than in the rural counties you represent. Winning the election is foremost, of course, but there is a bigger mission going on. Every unaffiliated voter you get to listen, every fed-up-with-politics independent you get to start thinking is a building block for changing the political dynamic in your county, and in your community. You are not only helping with the election, you are beginning the battle over identity that we need so desperately to win.
Good luck in the coming weeks, and wishes for a healthy dose of sanity.
