• Towns County Dems (GA)

• South Windsor Democratic Town Committee (CT) - First Adoption in Connecticut

Overall 70 entities have now adopted the Democratic Creed in 14 States

A big hello to everybody out there!

We are thrilled that the Harris campaign has picked up Freedom, Justice, and Opportunity as a major campaign theme. Thrilled, but not surprised. Those three words hold power, but the ideas that underly them are even more powerful. And they’re ours. The values in the Democratic Creed, the definitions of Freedom, Justice, and Opportunity that are embedded with it are powerful. The vision of a just society .. as long as it takes appeals to everybody. These things inspire universally because they stem from the opening words of the Declaration of Independence. And those words .. those ideas .. have been empowering our party since 1932. They are literally the soul of our party.

Now it’s time to step up and claim those values publicly. Claim them on behalf of our next President, claim them for your own candidates, claim them on behalf of all the unaffiliated voters in your county. But claim them. Stand up and declare you believe. Adopt the Democratic Creed. Embrace Freedom, Justice, and Opportunity, not just as a campaign slogan, but as our identity, as a statement of what we believe is the future of this country. Hold up a just society .. as long as it takes with pride. Give folks a beacon to follow.

Now is the time.

We want to reach rural counties in other states, but it takes money .. money to print, money to ship. We’re doing what we can with our current donations, but we need $750 to carry this out properly.

Please donate what you can. Help us get the message of Freedom, Justice,  and Opportunity out to even more rural counties. Help us in the fight to turn “rural” into “blue”

Rural Ohio counties get their new Freedom, Justice and Opportunity cards. The movement grows!

Attention counties that have already adopted: be sure and got to the Members page and download the new Freedom, Justice, and Opportunity cards. Print a bunch and start using them .. at fairs, at meetings, in neighborhood conversations. The Harris campaign picked up these words for a reason. Now you can have the actual definitions in your hands, definitions that are as universal and inspiring as the three words themselves.

If you haven’t adopted yet, if you haven’t joined the growing community of county organizations in fourteen states, now’s a the time.
