Counties have adopted the Democratic Creed but other types of organizations are joining as well. City organizations, women’s clubs, youth groups, Indivisible all are welcome.

DEMOCRATS 101 MET WITH 5 COUNTIES IN MICHIGAN

J.M. Purvis and Bryan Watson from Democrats 101 met with Democrats from the Michigan 106th and 99th House Districts by Zoom on Monday, October 2, 2023. These Democrats represented five Michigan county parties - Alpena, Iosco, Montmorency, Presque Isle, and Cheboygan - along the Lake Huron coast of Michigan.

In a forty-minute presentation, J.M. Purvis spoke about the Democratic Creed found in Democrats 101. He related the urgent need for a unifying thread for all Democrats, based on the core ideas that Democrats subscribe to and the values that all Democrats share. 

"You are the silver bullet", Purvis told them. "You are the party in your county. If people trust you, if people agree with you, if people like you, then when they go into the voting booth, they're going to vote for people like you. They're going to vote for Democrats."
